The first thing I did when I saw the headline was laugh hysterically- I then thought about the music implications and how it could change things if more of these AI artists started becoming popular.
From many angles I thought about how this could effect the current artist climate – a climate where you hear a black rapper getting killed almost every week – I also looked at how simple people think this is – that a robot can exude the same emotion/content from a song that a human can – I looked at the style and lyrics the robot was given, complete with saying the N word.
I don’t see this being the near future or the new normal, but it does give you insight of a new branch of music that can be created – an artist in general will never go out of business, but new ideas are trying to move in on their corners.

Just that face he got dropped lmao ---- A lot of people dropped the ball from many angles - not going to rehash it all, but the fact that a major label signed an AI bot that is portrayed to be a black rapper with behind the scenes ties that aren't black isn't surprising at all - It doesn't change how I move, I will continually keep track of my material/ideas, because anyone can make money off of it by pushing the right buttons.
