I let it linger 

the splash of hope I collapsed

on my face

                                is a smirk 

Designed to be left alone 

but I’ve become Snow White 

                                Etched in many thoughts 

Thinking, has become my go to

swallowing entire nights 

Doing, laughs at the street lights 

The rain put me to sleep 

The reign left me in a coma
