Last Sunday I hit the stage for an event held by the Hidden Gems Literary Emporium in New Brunswick, and had a great time overall – 

                Though it is getting darker and colder, I am going to try and make a strong effort to not use that as a built in excuse, and instead, use it as a way to prepare in various ways. 

                It’s odd saying that I am starting from scratch as an artist, but in some ways I am – as far as being an active participant (socially or perhaps I should say artistically) in the arts I have been absent, while others have been performing and building their name.  For me as a seasoned veteran I’m trying to find a balance between open mics/shows where event runners aren’t able to pay, and paid shows – many things come in to play when determining what I can and can’t do, and I will be altering them as I journey outside more. 

                Anyway… it was good being out there again, I enjoy when people see the different versions of me and their faces change--- The version that is quiet and moves in and out of places without being detected, the version that is jovial but a tactician on stage, and the version that actually talks to people after an event lol. 

                Looking forward to more as I work on this latest version of myself.
