On a podcast that I listen to, and also via a few articles that I read, there were a few discussions regarding finding your way to disrupt. No matter what it is that you do, find a way to wedge your way in the current scheme of things, that is the only way that your face will be heard.
Everyone writes books, whether poetry or novels, everyone makes music – but how am I going to do it differently? How am I going to do it in such manner that I am separated from the pack so my voice can be heard for longer than 30 seconds… longer than a minute… longer than a decade…
First comes consistency, actually sitting down and creating for longer than 20 minutes before being distracted.
Second is removing the belief that I have to multi-task, because technically I’m doing a little bit of everything, but not actually completing anything.
