A couple weeks ago I was asked to feature at Chamber 43, a new spot in New Brunswick, NJ.  Formally held in Highland Park (went there once for an event). A place I’ve enjoyed attending so far because of the old school vibe and their ill collection of music for purchase, I’m definitely looking forward to seeing their growth, with the hope that it becomes a big staple for good music and poetry in the area.         

Though it was my first feature in a minute, I still believe I was sharp as far controlling my material – I always take pride in controlling my material, in such manner that I can play around with my words/cadence depending on how my surroundings are (crowd, room, and overall energy). 

I’ll be coming out more (hitting an open mic tonight) – and though I have my qualms with open mics, and regardless of how much of a veteran I am, I understand what I am going to have to do, as far as getting my name back out and doing what I do best.
