Started a new writing project that by the end of it, I will end up with thirteen new pieces. “The Beggar” by Mos Def (Yasiin Bey) has been a song that I’ve played constantly since its release in 2004 – what I did, was break the lines down into 13 sections, which will become the baselines for my pieces. I finished the first one last night, and though it took a lot out of me, I am extremely satisfied with it. 

                Now comes the “fun part” which is the memorization.
