I started the new year off doing what I wanted to do… perform – I had a feature at an event titled Poetry in the Port which was held in Matawan NJ – Hosted by Damian Rucci, Damian Rucci has been spearheading a new poetry movement in NJ, where poets of all levels have been given space to express their thoughts (Other creatives too, but right now this is about poets). 

                Started something new as far as how I am going to market and bring awareness to what I do – One way to look at poetry is you write poetry, perform it and then go home. Another way to look at poetry is you have been blessed with a gift and you’d like as many people as possible to hear what you have to say.  I am of the latter 

                My feature as a whole I believe I went well – I had a conversation with a fellow poet later on regarding memorization and performing which I thoroughly enjoyed having ---- 

                I sold some books!!! Every night that I go out it won’t be the case… of course… but knowing I left the house with product, and came home without product… the smile didn’t leave my face for a few hours. 

                Now I need to buckle down with the projects I would like to put it out…
