I always joke with myself that one of my favorite artists is Dr. Dre because of how long he takes to put a project now- He could have about five Detoxes in the vault right now, but because he is so meticulous with his craft, things never come out. I’ve never really been meticulous with my projects- I have though, looked back and felt there was something I could have added or arranged a certain way to make it better, which trickles down into taking forever to put stuff out. 

                I have a project that I was going to put out on the 25th (The Locing Chair) – but after going back and listening there is always something I wish I could have altered and/or inserted. I’m going to put that one on the back burner for now and focus on some other things. 

                These past few days I was able to do an inventory of Joseph Reuben Fuller- basically my direction and what it’s really going to take in order for me to get to where I know I’m capable of. I have a performance on the 27th – one that I’m really really really looking forward to on the 29th and then I’m shutting it down (I mean if someone is offering me a golden opportunity I won’t turn it down lol) for the month of December in preparation for my (lord willing) my big 2023 where I show out.  

                I named this note Resignation Letter knowing the attention it would bring. (I wrote for multiple newspapers for many years so I know what a good headline can do) This note will probably have the most traffic on my site to date, and that’s okay – from that point on it will be the floor though, and my goal will be to continually have more traffic on my other material than that.  

                Guess I’ll have to do a performance end of the year post as well as a regular Joseph Thomas one too lol. 

                As always, consistency is key.
