Performed at a Juneteenth event on Saturday – with a format that I usually don’t attach myself to, but one that I am all too familiar with.  While performing my first piece, I saw two people on the side that were very attentive and hanging on to every word I was saying – one of the praises that I usually get is that I annunciate very well.  When I went down off to the side after the first piece, one of the individuals came over to me and began asking if I had any material for sale.  

                A lesson that I am continually learning is to always bring product with me- it doesn’t matter if it is a show attended by 500 people, or an open mic attended by 10 people, someone may want to buy something from you. 

                Even in my regular day to day, this is something that I should have in my car- like an emergency kit.
